Our December promotion, where we offer several "thank you" gifts for your donations, will come to an end in just one week! Donations must be received before midnight (PST), December 31, 2021, to qualify for the drawing.
I want to thank everyone who has donated so far -- especially those who participated in "Giving Tuesday"! As a reminder, we have 501c3 non-profit status, and your donations can be tax writeoffs where applicable by law.
This time, in addition to the usual postcards and 8x10" prints, people can enter a raffle to win a large print OF THEIR CHOICE. Sizes will vary by art, but prints will be at least 20"x30". Also, if there's a particular image you're looking for, please inquire, as not all the images I have available are suitable for high quality reproduction. (Options include -- but not limited to -- RAIDERS, THE DARK CRYSTAL, FLASH GORDON, THE MUPPET MOVIE, THE STING, and many, many others...) I also have limited quantities of postcards and 8x10" prints available, for donations of $30 and $80, respectively. Every $30 donation will include a series of postcards, and 3 entries for the large print. Every $80 donation will include both the series of postcards and 8x10" prints, as well as eight entries for the large print.
Those who donate at least $10 to our project through our Fractured Atlas donation page will be entered to win. You can enter multiple times, with $10 for each entry.
But now, in addition to the original promo outlined above, I have 3 large prints on matte paper that will be given away! I recently ordered reproductions of THE DARK CRYSTAL, FLASH GORDON, and the Lucille Ball TV GUIDE artwork...but they were slightly damaged during shipping, So my loss is your gain!
The prints are VERY large (note the yardstick at the bottom for scale), and there's only slight "bumps" that should easily be flattened out when framed.
The winners will be notified by the end of January. Winners will not be responsible for any shipping fees. Winners will be drawn at random, in a video to be posted online to ensure impartiality.
The first art print, which is a grand prize of the winner's choice, will be printed on Premium Photo Luster paper.
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners will then choose, in descending order, from the matte prints of DARK CRYSTAL, FLASH GORDON, and LUCILLE BALL.
These art reprints were made directly from photographic transparencies taken of Amsel's original artwork, and were professionally scanned and color-corrected. None of these reproductions are intended for commercial sale.
