

Giving thanks, 2020 style.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! What a year we’ve had. Dare I wonder what other things are in store for the remaining weeks? Should we all just keep our fingers crossed? My 2020 experience began with a hospital stay, followed by several weeks of recuperation (where I was either bedridden or limping). Update re: Table Read My Screenplay Competition
Here's an update that I wasn't even aware of until a friend pointed it out to me. United we stand.
Endearing little story to share with you tonight. A young couple lives next to our townhouse with their two little children. I've chatted casually with the couple a few times, and found that we shared the same political leanings -- as well as shared apprehension over the (then pending) presidential election.
So following Biden's speech tonight, I walked over to my neighbor's house with a little bottle of sparkling cider. I knocked on their door, and the wife answered.

SCRIPT2COMICS chooses two of my scripts in their initial selections...
The initial rounds of selections have been announced in the SCRIPT2COMICS contest, and my feature screenplay "In the Footsteps of Thaddeus Thackeray" made the quarterfinals, while my short script "Spruce Up the Holidays" made the semi-finals. Over the past year or so, I've been submitting my scripts to a number of contests. They've received a few mentions and rankings within a number of them.
