Love in the Time of Corona.

Dear friends,

Due to the Corona virus outbreak, I’m afraid our wedding cruise, scheduled to leave Los Angeles on April 7th, has been cancelled. Chris and I are therefore postponing our wedding to a future voyage. Depending on how world events play out, we hope to tie the knot at sea as soon as September or October, if all goes well. Fortunately, both the cruiseline and the wedding venue provided us with 175% credit towards a future trip and ceremony.

For those of you who generously donated to our Princess Cruise registry, I’m told that your credit cards should be re-credited for the full amounts in the next week or two. Once we book a future excursion, we’ll share with you the details, should you wish to make another contribution.

We’re also postponing our celebratory brunch, which was scheduled for Sunday, April 4th.

While this experience is a little heartbreaking, it’s only a postponement. In the long run, it’s also undoubtedly the safest and happiest option for us. We consider ourselves lucky under the circumstances.
